Thank you to Lynda Toye from Children in Crossfire, who visited our school this week to present us with the Compassionate School Award.
This achievement reflects the work completed by our pupils on areas such as:
• agreeing a set of GCE rules,
• creating compassion compasses,
• learning about conflict,
• learning how to calm down using the regulation stations,
• what diversity looks like in our community
• deciding what qualities make a compassionate person.
We are grateful to all our staff and pupils who contributed to this journey, and we extend a special thank you to Miss Herron for her leadership in guiding us toward this award.
