Our P4 classes welcomed the staff from Disability Sport NI for a morning project.
The project was two-fold, beginning with a 30 minute awareness raising presentation about disability sport. The presentation was both educational and fun including a quiz and video clips.
Following the presentation the P4 classes took part in the practical part of the day. A circuit of 5 activities, each based on a Paralympic sport. Each sports challenge was designed to give children a better understanding of disability sport and the abilities of disabled people.
